The Department trains professionals who can speak English appropriate for the international information age and have knowledge of English linguistics, English literature, English education, English and American literature and culture.
Also, it has an optimal educational environment, such as a state-of-the-art multimedia language lab and a library of departments. To improve not only primary subject English but also practical English, the curriculum of this department is continuously researched and developed to enhance adaptability to future society.
Career path after graduation
Graduates can enter a wide range of fields related to English linguistics, English education, English American literature and culture, and international exchange or can enter graduate school to continue academic research, or work in the fields of education, Public Sector for foreigners, Trade and Management, Interpretation/Translation, Media /Culture/Publishing, Finance and Tourism.
