
Educational Objectives and Introduction
Department of Legal Affairs seeks to cultivate the human resources necessary to realize the ideals of democratic, legal and social states (welfare states) through systematic and extensive legal education. The specific goals are to cultivate talented people with self-administration ability in accordance with the localization era and to develop legal knowledge that can be applied in the field of legal practice. Based on this curriculum, graduates of department of law of Hankyong National University are currently working as police officers, firefighters, city hall officials and correctional officers in Gyeonggi-Do. In March 2013, the name of this department was changed to department of legal affairs from department of law.
